The Vascular surgery department of Affiliated Hospital of North Sichuan Medical College is Class-A Key Medical Discipline of Sichuan Province severing with medical care, teaching and scientific research. There are 12 doctors in vascular surgery department, including 2 professors, 1 PhD and 3 MDs, 2 master instructors, 1 returned overseas student, 1 chief expert of “Excellent Program” of Health Commission of Sichuan Province. It has 55 inpatient beds, equipped with professional interventional operating rooms and equipment, and has advanced medical, teaching and scientific research conditions.
Team members have published more than 200 professional papers in domestic and foreign medical journals, participated in the editing of 11 monographs, and have completed or are currently researching a number of national, provincial and municipal projects. It has won a series of scientific research achievements, including the third prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award of the Government of Sichuan Province, the first prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award of Health department of Sichuan Province, and the second and third prizes of Science and Technology Progress Award of Government of Nanchong.
